THE HISTORY OF RUSTIC PIE FROM ANCIENT GREECE ...

The natural history of pie from ancient Greece, where the pies were in the daily diet. Feature was a kind of pie with honey, cheese and oil which was very succesfull and had the name "mytlotos" - a pie with honey and garlic.

The rich meals of the ancient Athenians desserts that included fresh and dried fruit, salty almonds, cheese, garlic and onions ends with sweet and savory pies, which are especially appreciated.

|   Ingredients :

  • PASTRY (65%):

wheat flour (65%), water, vegetable fats (palm oil, palm kernel oil in varying proportions) and vegetable oils (sunflower-seed oil, maize germ oil, cotton-seed oil in varying proportions, containing flavourings and colouring agent: beta-carotene), virgin olive oil (1%), vinegar, salt.

  • FILLING (35%):

frozen onion (62%), minced beef (31%), soya (3.5%), breadcrumbs (wheat flour, water, salt, yeast), salt, spices.

The product contains wheat ingredients (gluten), soya. May also contain traces of milk (lactose), egg, sesame seeds, mustard, nuts and nut shell fragments.


  Baking Instructions :

  • Pre-heat your oven to 180ο – 200ο c.

  • Remove the pie from its packaging and allow to thaw.

  • Brush a pan with butter or oil.

  • Place the pie in the pand and, after cutting it, spray it with a little water.

  • Place the pan containing in the pie in the middle potision (grill) of your oven and bake for 50-60 minutes at 200ο c.

  • Attention : Do not bake this product in a microwave oven. Once thawed, do not re-freeze.

  • Prepared with traditional care and the purest ingredients.

  • Keep in the freezer at -18ο c until the consume-by date printed on the package.
